Less is More!

Attention whore... I guess that's all that befitting them. I mean, we all can like or hate something, but to go all out to justify your love or hatred, to condemned  someone else with a different opinions something of sort like he or she had commit a murder, just doesn't make sense! I think they're all just an attention whore... Pity them, a bunch of lack of love and tenderness kids...

Freedom of speech, a connotation so widely used wrongfully. A term to justify and make their own childish act as a righteous one. I fully did not understand the meaning of 'Freedom' in 'Freedom of Speech'... Some say, when we give an idiot a freedom of speech, they will come out with something stupid (obviously), and they tend to twist facts and make bold argument, most of the time didn't favor the topic that being discussed before hand. But then, do we stop them? Do we stop idiots from commenting on subjects? Then we're already give limits to 'freedom of speech'. With limits, 'freedom' become a redundant word... There is no freedom in freedom of speech itself, and people fight for their right to express their opinions. What they forget or didn't get it is, the opinions usually only matter when its support our own! When the idea is supporting our own ideas, then we say it as 'freedom of speech'! Now, someone comes in and said, those idea were stupid, next thing we know, we're bashing that person just because he is having his 'right' for 'freedom of speech...

You see, the problem is, this kind of act usually an one way kind of act... Some of us recognizing hatred as the way of ideas on certain topics, but when someone came in with their own ideas, which in turn suggesting that they're in love with the things discussed, we tend to write them off as soon as an opportunity comes! Political debate is an easy example. When people slagging off the government, they tend to pour in evidence, which most of the time is one-sided, then, when someone else come with the evidence that the government is actually in good hand, then come the comment to prove it, and the kind of evident they wanted is the one that one-sided to them, rather an one-sided to the government, which is an ironic in itself, since the first proof was actually already an one-sided to the opposition. The same things happen vice versa...

And, sadly, it wasn't stop on political issues only. We fought, under the disguised of 'Freedom of Speech' on issues regarding economy, races, football team, nationality, and religions. Most of us couldn't keep our head down and tend to offend the other party. Yes, again we using the 'freedom of speech' as a way to make it all 'legal', but then, when it's in turn happen to us, we give an excused like, "Idiot shouldn't been given the right of 'freedom of speech'..." kind of thing!

Apostasy from Islam in Malaysia has become an on-off issue to the public. Many not talked about it widely anymore, but some do think and know they were became larger and larger in the region. The most common thought is apostates were to be killed after they left Islam, but in modern Muslim's world, there's still debate on it. Sure, there are hadis stated that they should be killed, but then, the translation of it is vary. Certain scholars argue that it's only applied to those who threaten the Muslim's world as general, putting the community in grave danger, then its equal to betrayal, which will be punishable. In a 100% Muslim country, which by far on modern world, couldn't be recognized by any of Muslim scholars (cause they didn't actually apply the true sharia's laws, even though the leader of the country is a Muslim and/or the majority of the people are Muslim), apostasy will become an punishable crime, be it an execution or prison. But that's should be leave as a political rules of certain country rather than make it as a global issue...

Now, when there are depress on apostasy, like a mandatory execution or legally-bound to can't change the religion, those who think Islam is not their religion anymore will tend to rebel! The rebel include certain amount of prejudice, threat and bad-mouthing the religion as a whole. These group of people tend to use their personal experience or their closed one as a guide line how the religion really are. Those religions were usually influenced and drive by a person, who, even by their appearance is Islamic, their embodiment might beg to differ! The trauma they get are now being released in form of an attack towards the religion ideology, teachings, history, laws and the followers...

Do they really need to disperse Islam? No. Do they think its the only thing left they can and must do? No. If they really don't need Islam, then be it. Be peace with their choice as the Muslims also should be peace with their choice. But they were not! If you think that they were actually doing it (disperse Islam) to let go off their deep emotion for being depress of cannot expressing their true self (an apostate among Muslim), then they should just revealed themselves!

After all, if you do have a firm believe in what you believed (in case of atheist, believed that there's no God), then you should stand up for it, even if it's mean losing your own life! Many earlier Muslims scholars and fighters did this to proved their faith, so why can't you??

At the end of the day, as for me, it always go back to an old saying...

...haters, will hate!"

Come back to an issue regarding an apostasy in our dear country... I don't know about you, but for me, if that is what the really want, why don't we just let them go. I know there will be a lot of consequences, but, like an old Malays saying goes, "you can't cover an elephant corpses with a coconut trunk " (direct translation, LOL!!)! So, rather than focusing on how many of them turn from Islam and how they will threat our future generation, I suggest that we work on our own 'weapon', that is to give our youngster an early, firm basic knowledge about Islam. Draw them towards Islamic teaching by making it fun and realistic. We ourselves should be their role model, rather than being suck up in the hedonism of the modern world itself...

We don't need them anyway, the apostates... With them, sure, our number on the statistic sheet might look bigger and more powerful, but truly is, they were, and maybe we ARE too were the 'bubble' that our Prophet (SAW) had long prophesied so... Quality, not quantity that's matter, and to be honest, we might be lacking on both area right now... Shocking, but true!

For me, though many might not agree with... less is, indeed, more!
